            Adult Faith Formation supports lifelong learning and conversion to Jesus Christ.  



It is our desire to nourish and strengthen lay men and women in their mission and call as contributors to the life and work of the Church and to the proclamation of the Gospel to the world.

  • ARTISTS RETREAT DAY

    SATURDAY - JULY 15 - MISSION BASILICA PASTORAL CENTER ROOM D

    8 :00 am to 1:00 pm

    Gather with artists from our community to reflect on our call to be "custodians of beauty."  Retreat includes continental breakfast, prayer, and a brief introduction to Pope Benedict's message to artists.  At 9 AM you are invited to work en plein air on the Old Mission grounds or anywhere in the vicinity.  We will gather again at 12 noon for a simple lunch and to display and share what we have accomplished during the  morning.  No charge for the retreat except for cost of admission to the grounds of the historic Mission San Juan Capistrano ($9).  Contact Gayle Larkin to register at gjtl@cox.net or Eileen @ 949-234-1354

  • IGNITE YOUNG ADULT GROUP

    7:30-9PM, WEDNESDAYS

    PASTORAL CENTER> BASEMENT LEVEL> SERRA ROOM

    Ignite is a young adult group for everyone in their twenties and thirties. We get together on the second and forth Wednesday nights of the month for fellowship and on the first, third and fifth nights for social nights. Occasionally, on social night we will meet somewhere else in town, so feel free to contact Robbie Moore for more information.

  • catholic men's fellowship

    after 7 am mass, every third sat

    PASTORAL CENTER> SECOND FLOOR> ROOM D

    We exist for the purpose of fellowship and community, providing spiritual support and friendship to one another. Hot breakfast, music and good speakers make up each meeting which concludes no later than 9:30 AM. No fee is charged, but a donation basket is available to help offset the cost of breakfast.

  • CORNERSTONE CATHOLIC SCRIPTURE STUDY

    The Cornerstone Scripture Study is currently on a summer break and will return on September 21 to begin study of the Gospel According to John.  Walk-ins and  are welcome. Perfect for beginners and also meets the study needs of those who are advanced in scripture study.  Meets on Thursdays at 7 PM in Room D.  To register for next September, contact the following.....
